Perfect Backyard Cooker

Our first model is a unit designed to be the perfect Backyard Smoker. The cooker is 16" X 32", with a 16" offset firebox. The cooker's front shelf and cooking rack are at counter top height of 32". Each cooker is cut and assembled by hand, from 3/16" thick steel plate and has a round top with a 3" diameter smoke stack. The cooking chamber is equipped with a 1/2" drain with cap, which can be easily fitted with a valve making it easy to drain the 4 inches of water it is capable of holding for added moisture in the cooking area or easier cleaning. The cooking rack is made of 1/2" rod and the firebox rack is 3/4" rod, and both are removable. Each cooker is equipped with a BBQ Thermometer, easy adjustable vent on the firebox and spring tensioned flapper on the smoke stack. Every handcrafted cooker is stamped with its own unique serial number and painted with several coats of 1000*, high temperature paint. These are not lightweight cookers, weighing in at several hundred pounds. SmokeWagon Cookers are not throwaway units, they are heavy built fire tuned pits meant to last a lifetime.

Easy to Cook On

They hold stable cooking temperatures longer using less wood, giving you the ability to use the entire cooking rack and the flat top of the firebox is perfect for cooking a pot of beans, stew or your favorite Dutch Oven Cobbler.

Nothing leaves our shop until it meets our standards, which is simply,

"If we wouldn't own it-we don't expect you too!"
